Abstract:
The present study aims to evaluate the influence of green supply chain management (GSCM) practices on operational performance (OPP) in a control environmental agriculture (CEA). A mixed methodology was used for data collection. The inductive approach was based on data collected using the five most successful respondents in CEA. The deductive approach was based on the data collected through 275 farmers who engaged in CEA in Badulla District in Sri Lanka. The data was analysed using the content analysis method and the structural equation modelling (SEM). Based on content analysis, experience, family support, knowledge and knowledge sharing, and green practices were the most frequently mentioned by farmers as their indicators of operational performance. Results showed the influence of the GSCM practices (GSCMPs) leads to increases the cost savings, improve the quality of products, improve delivery time, and improve the adaptability of change from one product to another.
