Organisational predisposition toward change and innovation

Abstract: This paper modernises our concept of leadership capability for optimising people behaviours relating to strategic change and innovation. We draw on extended literature research to revisit social logics of our organisations. The results lead us to a typology of organisational social logics, which refer to modes of interactions among individuals that change and innovate organisations. Our typology is structured by two orders of social logics: the Social Political Contract and the Community and Individuality Bonding. The related hermeneutic dynamics create a social predisposed organisational logic toward change, innovation, and sustainability. We conclude with leadership capability principles to enable strategic change and innovation dynamics. Our contribution is to present the social system where groups of individuals are predisposing their reactions to organisational evolution.
