Abstract:
During the last decades, corporate social responsibility (CSR) has evolved after it passed critical academic and practical milestones. CSR is contributing to the corporate sustainability strategy and competitiveness. In this scenario, we aim to assess companies operating in different industries in Ukraine applying CSR approaches to verify changes in their competitiveness using key numerical indicators to ensure corporate sustainability. Adopting a qualitative methodology, we investigate a relative dimension changes assessment emphasising a set of key indicators. We conclude that the CSR approach can enhance the company competitiveness and sustainability at a faster rate compared with not adopting any CSR approach. Our results are directed to academics and practical communities.
