Abstract:
The latest researches depict that there is a gap in the literature on the role of knowledge creation in higher-level strategic decision-making process. The purpose of this paper is to develop a conceptual model in order to conceptualise the relationship between these two important concepts. Due to the subjective nature of this situation, soft systems methodology is used to incorporate and conceptualise the related principles. The proposed conceptual model provides advantages for managers, decision-makers and consultants to understand the role of creating new strategic and competitive knowledge from their current decision-making processes.
