Abstract:
Suppliers' evaluation and selection is a very important part of the supply chain management of a company. A suitable supplier can increase the effectiveness of the supply chain of a company and thus improve its competitiveness. This work suggests a fuzzy multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) model to evaluate and select suppliers, where membership function of each final fuzzy evaluation value can be developed. A Riemann integral-based mean of removals is applied to rank all the final fuzzy evaluation values and ranking procedure can be formulated. A numerical example demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed model.
