International Journal of Management and Enterprise Development, 2015, vol. 14, issue 4, 326-344

Abstract: This research looks at the importance of organisational culture during times of crisis, emphasising the Thai telecommunications company, DTAC. The research makes use of a non-experimental correlational research design to investigate the hypothesised relationships between internal and external factors of crisis affecting organisational culture. The research design uses a questionnaire survey of managers, supervisors and operational level staffs (N = 361). The findings suggested that crisis caused by internal factors has negative correlation towards the firm's development in culture. On the other hand, crisis caused by external factors has positive correlation with culture development. Further research guideline is also discussed.
