Abstract: In this paper, we present the Topp-Leone-Harris-G (TL-Harris-G) family of distributions. Some special cases, such as Topp-Leone-Harris-log-logistic (TL-Harris-LLoG), Topp-Leone-Harris-uniform (TL-Harris-U) and Topp-Leone-Harris-Weibull (TL-Harris-W) distributions are given. We examine some structural properties, such as moments, generating function, distribution of order statistics, entropy, and probability weighted moments (PWMs) of the new family of distributions. The maximum likelihood estimation method is used to estimate model parameters. To illustrate the consistency and efficiency of parameter estimations process, simulations are run, and real-world data sets are used to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model. The proposed model proves to be a better alternative to some well known models.
