Abstract:
Information can be passed between people, groups, gadgets, organisations, continents, and the rest of the globe through communication. Focusing on the aforementioned, this study takes into account a communication system made up of five subsystems: three servers, two switches, a router, and three clients, which are all grouped together in a series-parallel categorisation. Given that this system is operational, failure is inevitable. As a result, the failure of these subsystems appears to be constant and in accordance with the exponential function, general and copula repairs are offered to fix both partial and whole system failures. The mathematical transition figure of the system is used to construct partial differential equations, which are then solved with the use of a supplementary variable and the Laplace transformation method. The expressions for availability, reliability, mean time to failure (MTTF), sensitivity, and costs are realised using a mathematical tool. The study's findings are supported by specific examples.
