Abstract:
This paper deals with the load sharing M-out of-N: G redundant system consisting of non-identical and non-repairable components. The components are removed from the system immediately after the failure and each of surviving components shares different amount of load. The components are assumed to have exponential life time distributions with different failure rates. For the solution purpose, Laplace transform technique is used to solve the system of differential equations. We provide a closed form analytical expression for the reliability and some other performances indices of the system. The validation of analytical results is also demonstrated by providing the numerical results.
