Abstract:
This paper explores an alternative theoretical lens to study the organisational wide operational system renovation. We use dynamic capabilities framework to assess the capabilities of implementing ERP enabled operational system for four Chinese manufactures. The results show that dynamic capabilities approach is an effective approach to help Chinese manufacturers to diagnosis their capabilities to implement organisational wide operation system renovation.
