Abstract:
This paper presents a new method and simulation platform for complex product that has been implemented in analysis and optimisation process. Taking full advantage of inherent interface of commercial design software or developed medial file, this method can exchange information, access public data and verify the design variables dynamically within different disciplines so as to achieve the performance-based optimisation with different constraints. Then the author uses this platform to design active suspension system considering multiple disciplines such as hydraulics, control, electronics and mechanics. The result obtained shows that it works well and the time cost is less than before.
