International Journal of Manufacturing Technology and Management, 2023, vol. 37, issue 3/4, 376-390

Abstract: In order to overcome the problem of poor accuracy of innovation capability evaluation model, this paper proposes a manufacturing innovation capability evaluation model based on factor analysis. Firstly, the evaluation index system of manufacturing innovation ability is built. Secondly, the extension analytic hierarchy process is used to obtain the evaluation index weight of innovation ability. Finally, the data variables are selected to construct the sample matrix. The original data are standardised, transformed and tested according to the KMO test standard. The evaluation of manufacturing innovation ability is realised by calculating the factor score, and the evaluation model of manufacturing innovation ability is constructed based on the factor analysis method. The experimental results show that the evaluation time of innovation ability of this model is only 8.6 s. The accuracy of the evaluation model in this paper is 99%, which shows that the reliability evaluation result of the model is better.
