Factors affecting university students' intention to adopt e-learning systems: a case study in Jiujiang University

Abstract: E-learning has many advantages, but many university students have never used e-learning systems. Therefore, it is necessary to study the factors of intention to adopt e-learning systems. In this paper, samples are collected from students of Jiujiang University in China. The theory of planned behaviour is expanded by introducing perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The model of intention to adopt e-learning systems is established. Factors analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model testing are conducted by Amos20.0 and Spss17.0. The results show that: firstly, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of e-learning systems have a significantly positive effect on attitude; secondly, attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioural control have a significantly positive impact on intention to adopt e-learning systems.
