The rhizomatic structure of cyberspace: virtuality and its possibilities

Abstract:
This theoretical essay concentrates on a reflection about the multiple possibilities that unfold due to the interactions in cyberspace. As a goal, we stress the actuality and identify possible lines of flights; it is an attempt to chart areas still to come, proposing alternatives that will enable the expansion of the human conscience. Cyberspace is shaped like Deleuze and Guattari's rhizome, and is filled with lines and points that interconnect continuously. Cyberspace is full of links, multiple entryways and exits, aggregating structures that sometimes accrete into bulbs and sometimes into tubercles. We were able to see lines of flight, alternatives for the expansion of the collective conscience and for the construction of a new society. In an attempt to proceed with the rhizome, there is no period, only ellipses...
