Abstract:
We study collaborative modelling of business processes with respect to the impact of tool support on the modelling process. For this purpose, we compared model quality and modelling costs of two sessions in five cases. The first was carried out in the usual way without tool support; in the second case we conducted the modelling session with the help of a collaborative modelling tool. We observed a marked decrease in modelling time in the second case and a rise in model quality.
