International Journal of Operational Research, 2025, vol. 52, issue 1, 116-127

Abstract: Game theory deals with competitive situations where there are two or more opposing parties with conflicting interests are involved. A competitive situation will be called a game. In this paper, a new approach for selecting the best strategy for increasing the shares for two companies using octagonal neutrosophic fuzzy numbers is proposed. Further, an octagonal neutrosophic fuzzy number to neutrosophic fuzzy number is converted by using deneutrosophication the fuzzy number is obtained by using the fuzzification method. The obtained matrix represents a fuzzy game matrix. This matrix is solved using game theory to obtain the best strategy for these companies.
