Abstract:
The paper presents the legal issues that living labs bring about. Especially, we concentrate on copyright and other Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), competence issues, and privacy protection. We are availing of the results of two research projects and we describe a scenario to illustrate and analyse the legal issues in relation to Living Labs, user-driven product development, and open innovation processes.
