Abstract: The supplier selection is a multi-criteria decision making problem. The supplier selection problem considers massive and strategically important costs for companies. In the present paper, cost factors for supplier selection are considered through the quality function deployment-analytic network process (QFD-ANP) methodology. This integrated approach classifies criteria into two categories customers' needs and engineering requirements. Customers needs' degree of importance and engineering requirements' degree of importance are calculated through the ANP methodology and the QFD relationship matrix, respectively. It might be possible to consider the amounts of costs and objective factor measure (OFM) concurrently using a mathematical model. A case study has been conducted in a reputable automotive company. The results show that the integrated QFD-ANP methodology is an effective method in the supplier selection problem within companies.
