One-sided cumulative sum control chart for monitoring shifts in the shape parameter of Pareto distribution

Abstract: One-sided CUSUM control chart have been developed for detecting shifts in the shape parameter of a Pareto distribution. It was realised that the parameters of the CUSUM chart, the lead distance and the mask angle changes considerably for a slight shift in the shape parameter of the Pareto distribution. The ARL also changes considerably for a slight shift in the parameters of the distribution.
