Abstract:
Assessing the dimensions of psychological factors and their influence on customers' behaviour can provide valuable information for the customers and help managers. This study is going to examine the influence of psychological factors on customers' information search behaviour in regard to preference and select domestic or foreign brands in women's clothing industry. The authors in this research presented a conceptual model for answering this question: Which psychological factors influences more on information search behaviour and for what reasons consumers of this industry prefer domestic products rather than foreign ones and vice versa? The results of this study will help women's clothing providers to create willingness in customers to choose domestic products instead of foreign one. The results demonstrate that all of the psychological factors have positive effects on customer's information search behaviour.
