Abstract: The main aim of this research is to evaluate the direct and indirect effect of information technology on productivity in retail services. The study uses a survey questionnaire that was adapted from literature to measure the impact of Information Technology on Retail service productivity. Data was collected from the employees at retail stores in different cities in Indian. Further, data was analysed using two statistical software SPSS 25 and AMOS 25. The study concluded that perceiving ease of use, perceiving adoptiveness, and perceiving usefulness has a substantial effect on the profitability of retail services. However, the study found that superior functionality has no significant effect on the productivity of retail services. The study has consequences for managers in retail stores and retail workers working at retail outlets.
