Abstract:
The present paper deals with operational planning in the upstream link of the oil palm supply chain. A MIP mathematical model is proposed in order to optimise fruit lifting and transportation activities within plantations, seeking to improve the coordination of human resources and available equipment. The proposed stochastic bi-objective model was optimally solved under the ε-constraint solution procedure, with a good performance in terms of computation time.
