Abstract:
Since the last two decades, companies have been using Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMTs); but these are not handled properly, resulting in a big loss to the organisations in the form of profitability, productivity, market share etc. The paper is planned to understand these different activities involved in the utilisation of new technologies. Various success factors that affect the utilisation level have been evolved. Further, to improve the utilisation level, initiatives undertaken by different researchers have been suggested.
