International Journal of Sustainable Development, 2025, vol. 28, issue 2/3, 185-197

Abstract: Based on the recycling economy perspective, this paper discusses the resource-conserving environment-friendly society construction strategy. Firstly, the existing problems in current social construction are analysed, including resource waste, environmental pollution, and ecological damage. Then, strategies for building a resource-saving and environmentally friendly society from the perspective of circular economy are proposed, including promoting the circular economy model, strengthening resource management and monitoring, promoting sustainable consumption and production, and encouraging green technology innovation. These strategies aim to maximise resource utilisation, reduce environmental load, improve ecosystem stability, and enhance human well-being. By effectively implementing these strategies, a sustainable resource saving and environmentally friendly society can be built, achieving coordinated development of economy, environment, and society.
