The effectiveness of using the innovational potential of a socio-economic system in Russia

Abstract: With formation and harmonisation of market relations in the Russian economy, the necessity for implementing innovations as the most important tool for effective development of socio-economic systems becomes more topical. Implementation of innovations stimulates the improvement of indicators of economic activity, increase of competitiveness, and more effective use of resources. The purpose of the work is to determine, generalise, and substantiate the options of managing the innovational development of socio-economic systems of various levels on the basis of evaluating the effectiveness of using their innovational potential. In order to achieve this goal, economic and statistical methods of the research were used, as well as economic and comparative analysis. Methodological and practical developments are based on such approaches as complex and structural and logical, expert, methods of comparison and modelling. A methodological approach to the evaluation of the effectiveness of using innovational potential is offered. The recommendations given in the work could be used for solving the issues related to increase of effectiveness of using the innovational potential of socio-economic systems of various levels.
