International Journal of Trade and Global Markets, 2019, vol. 12, issue 3/4, 260-271

Abstract: As one of the world's lobster producers, Indonesia exports lobster to different countries in the world including Asian countries. The Indonesian government plays an important role in making policies to protect its lobster commodities. This paper aims to determine the competitiveness of Indonesian lobster exports to several Asian countries before and after the government issued the lobster protection policy. Based on RCA and Market Share analysis, Indonesia's competitiveness and lobster market share increase in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand after the Indonesian government issued the lobster protection policy.
