A conceptual framework for defining scope and opportunities of interdisciplinary research in management

Abstract: The paper tries to develop a pursuable framework for conducting interdisciplinary research in the field of management. This paper follows an exploratory methodology of investigating top 16 reputed institutions for their research outcomes in the form of working papers, thesis, journal publications, etc. It finally converses variety of areas in management discipline to achieve a close and associative result in desired functions. The inherent nature of the business dynamics raises the question that how one should formulate the interdisciplinary research problem? Furthermore, it is suggesting ways to formulate the interdisciplinary research. Finally, the paper defines the opportunity line for pursuing such researches.
