Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is through rural entrepreneurship to analyse and give an understanding on the concept and the current situation on rural women entrepreneurship, to explore the challenges rural women entrepreneurship face in North Macedonia, especially Albanian women and in the end to discuss potential solutions, further suggestions, and recommendations on how to overcome these challenges. In this study, the case-based approach was used. To achieve our main goal, in total 20 women have been contacted in different rural villages around the city of Tetovo (North Macedonia). All the interviews were conducted in distance, some using FaceTime, and others by phone call. Interviews took place during April-May 2020, a very challenging period, when most of the businesses were locked down.
