Why world automobile industry may move to Asia Pacific zone: the case of India's automobile industry

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to identify the salient considerations in a relocation analysis of the automobile industry, specifically as it relates to a move into India. Using Michael Porter's five forces competitive model, the environment and forces within the industry will be analysed to give insight as to the opportunities and challenges of entering the auto industry in India.
