Coffee

Conjunctura economiei mondiale / World Economic Studies, 2011
Abstract:
The article presents the development of the world coffee market during 2010 and projections for 2011. In 2010, the international coffee prices fluctuated, on a general yearly upward trend, reflecting mainly the coffee deficit on the world market (while the world production declined by 5%, as a result of bad climateric conditions, and the consumption increased by 9%). The projections for 2011 show an improvement of the world coffee balance.
