Abstract:
The article presents the evolution of the world nickel market during 2010 and projections for 2011. In 2010, the nickel yearly average price at the London Metal Exchange increased largely, by about 49%, reflecting the increased demand for the metal, especially from USA (+37%) and Japan (+24%). The forecast for 2012 is optimistic.
