Abstract:
In the present article it is presented: (a) the economic outlook of Ukraine for 2010 and 2011; (b) the importance of political and geopolitical context, taking into account Ukraine’s relation with Russia and EU. The main thesis of the article is that the economic prospects for Ukraine for 2010-2011 is generally favorable, but it depends greatly on international economic and geopolitical context, given the energetic dependence of Ukraine on imports from Russia and also Ukraine's aspiration for EU membership.
