Abstract:
The article presents the evolution of the world nickel market during 2011 and projections for 2012. In 2011, the nickel yearly average price at the London Metal Exchange increased by about 5%, reflecting the increased demand for the metal, especially from China (+9.3%) and USA (+13%). The forecast for 2012 is cautious.
