Non-ferrous scraps
Anca Dragomirescu
Conjunctura economiei mondiale / World Economic Studies, 2012
Abstract:
The article presents the development of the world non-ferrous scrap market during 2011 and projections for 2012. The international prices increased both in case of non-ferrous metals and scraps, as against 2010, reflecting the favourable economic evolution in the main consuming countries, after the 2009 recession. The projections for 2012 are pesimistic, on the ground of the uncertainty regarding the economic development in the main consuming countries (EU, USA, Canada, Japan and China).
