Abstract:
In recent years, the evolution of Russia’s economy, part of the BRICS group, recorded a dynamic growth interrupted briefly, in 2009, by the occurrence of the international economic crisis. Immediately after the crisis, the Russian economy entered into a slow but steady recovery process. Recovery was mainly driven by the oil exports growth and by the internal measures for fiscal and financial stabilization. In what follows, we will briefly present an analysis of the main macroeconomic indicators evolution in 2012 and some considerations about the Russian economy prospects for 2013.
