Abstract: The article presents the ferroalloys market’s development in 2012 and prospects for 2013. The year 2012 was characterized by the difficulties faced by the mining companies that produce raw materials for ferroalloys, situation which will influence the ferroalloys market, on short and medium term. Upon this basis, the ferroalloys prices have decreased heavily during 2012, the forecasts for 2013 showing the possibility of increasing the demand and thus the increasing of prices.
