Abstract: The paper presents an analysis of global zinc market in 2012, focusing on some market imbalances due to stocks accumulated in recent years. The statistical data presented in this paper highlight the price, consumption and production evolution, in all global regions in 2012 compared with 2011, highlighting the key role that China holds on the global zinc market. In the final part of the paper we present some forecasts of the global zinc market and of the price for non-ferrous metal.
