Abstract:
The article presents the evolution of the world steel market during 2014 and projections for 2015. In 2014, world steel production and consumption continued to increase. Steel international prices fluctuated during 2014 and the forecast for 2015 suggests a significant increase. China plays the major role, having about half of the world steel production and consumption.
