Abstract:
The article presents the evolution of the world nickel market during 2015 and projections for 2016. In 2015, the nickel yearly average price at the London Metal Exchange decreased by about 30% against 2014, to 11.872 $/to (16.873 $/to in 2014), reflecting decreased demand for the metal. The forecast for 2016 shows a great volume of stocks of nickel at the London Metal Exchange.
