Abstract:
According to data published by the International Tin Research Institute (ITRI), in 2016 the tin global market was characterized by a shortage of production towards consumption, as well as by a drastic reduction of stocks. The imbalance between supply and demand determined a 11% increase in quotes on the main tin exchanges, such as the London Metal Exchange (LME) and the Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KLTM).
