Robert-Ionuţ Dobre

Euroinfo, 2017, vol. 1, issue 11-12, 69-84

Abstract: This article begins with the description of OECD evolution (in the first two parts) in its 56 years of existence, in the context of its comprehensive enlargement. In the third part, Romania's relationship with the OECD is reviewed, following the main events that took place between the time of Romania's first application for accession to the OECD and the present. The fourth part attempts to perform a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the accession criteria according to which the OECD Council takes decisions regarding the acceptance of new members.
