Abstract:
In this paper, we highlight the priorities of the current EU immigration policy and briefly comment on the EU-initiated procedures against Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary, in response to their stance on the refugee relocation plan. One of the main conclusions of the analysis is that member countries remain divided on how to tackle the migration crisis and that the EU's measures have so far failed to match the interests of all states in this sensitive field.
