Euroinfo, 2018, vol. 2, issue 1, 3-11
Abstract:
The types of EU trade agreements are varied, from Free Trade Agreements to Free Trade Areas and Economic Partnership Agreements. This article aims to present a brief analysis of the tangible benefits of such trade agreements for both the EU and the partner countries, mainly concerning the trade flows. The analysis will be based on the most recent European Commission report (published in November 2017 and illustrating the evaluation of the implementation of EU’s existing trade agreements (the first horizontal review of this type published by the European Commission), but also on the European statistics, exemplified with some relevant case studies.
