THE EFFECTS OF PANDEMIC COVID-19 ON DIGITAL COMMERCE

Abstract: The article presents the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on European and global digital trade, as well as changes in consumer behavior. The method used was the quantitative analysisof the overall sales volume in digital commerce and the evolution of the value indices of retaildigital turnover and developments in value indices of retail digital retail business figures and B2B and B2C business figures. The electronic shopping allowed companies with the right resourcesto maintain or expand sales and consumers to continue their purchases and lifestyle during pandemic.
