Abstract:
The article focuses on two key issues related to the evolution and prospects of the labourmarket, namely: the jobs and qualifications of the future in terms of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,on the one hand, and the need to stimulate youth employment in EU as a "guarantee of the future”, onthe other hand. The conclusions of the paper show that it is essential to improve the monitoring, andthe evaluation and anticipation of qualifications, as well as the compatibility between demand andsupply on the labour market in order to increase employment and reduce long-term unemployment.
