Abstract: Our research aims at monitoring the quality of drinking water and wastewater in Bihor county (in terms of hygiene). Our analysis focuses on the following parameters: effectiveness of treatment technologies, water quality information. Our research aims at achieving a set of measures for better monitoring of the water in the food industry. Also, our research aims to determine to what extent the water quality meets the requirements of current legislation in this field. In our analysis we also aim to observe and compare the characteristics of drinking water and waste water depending on the power supply and processing technologies. For this purpose, we will use the following parameters: water hardness, pH, residual chlorine, nitrates, nitrites, nitrogen and phosphorus.
