Evaluation of bacterial indicators of preluvosoil quality from CriÅŸ plain

Impact of Socio-economic and Technological Transformations at National, European and International Level (ISETT), 2015, vol. 2

Abstract: The research was carried out during 2013-2014 on an experimental area located in Bihor County. To study the microbiological activity of the haplic luvisol from Crisurilor Plain soil samples were collected from a cropland (cultivated with wheat and corn) and from a pasture (uncultivated soil). Based on the total number of microorganisms belonging to each studied ecophysiological groups was appreciated the bacterial potential of the soil quality. The highest values of the total number of aerobic heterotrophic bacteria were identified in cropland while Actinomycetes were more abundant in uncultivated soil. Nitrogen fixing bacteria and nitrifying bacteria were numerically underrepresented in the studied soil variants. On the basis of annual values of bacterial indicators of the soil quality it was established that in 2013 and in 2014, on the first position in terms of biological potential was the cropland, followed by pasture
