Abstract: The Ministry of Defense has modeled the strategies and objectives under the major changes within society, including those incurred in the media, investing in messaging sending mode via modern information technologies, designing modern communication strategies that take into foreground public expectations, both of the heterogeneous environment specific mass communication, as well as the target one. Despite the complex social context, the army manages to remain an institution in which citizens have a very highly reliable, positioning in the polls being durable and solid. The objective of this research is to identify practical ways in order to build a viable communication strategy at the Ministry of Defense, consistent with NATO and EU standards. To achieve that objective, we used a range of research methods, such as analytical method, logical method, critical method, comparative method.
