Abstract:
This paper aims to provide a detailed perspective on the current legal framework regarding civil aviation activities emphasizing the inherent link between them and the work of state aircraft operators in Member States of the European Union. Our analysis begins with an overview of the historical development of fundamental principles of aviation regulation in EU and also shows the present regulations regarding aeronautics units. The main point of interest of our research is the way in which state the airlines (Air Support units for police / customs, air operators and other similar services, as set out in Regulation no. 216/2008 on rules Joint civil aviation and establishing a European Agency for Aviation Safety) operate in the context of rules and regulations that apply currently under Single European Sky. We will also analyze the future development of these rules given bond default activity air operators state. The analysis ends with a case study on how the regulatory issues envisaged directly affect the work of the Inspectorate General Aviation Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania, considering the tasks and powers of its specific as Air Operator State Missions ranging from the police air support to search and rescue operations and aero.
