Public safety in Romania – some legal considerations

Margarit Nicolae Sorin

Impact of Socio-economic and Technological Transformations at National, European and International Level (ISETT), 2015, vol. 4

Abstract: Romanian public order is part of national security and is submitted to the regulations of European legislation. Romanian public order is a fact of social, protection that reflects the way in which are respected the rules of conduct contained in the legislation and also those of public and private property. Despite the efforts to create a legal system able to regulate the conduct of social life and enforce public order, even the states with an advanced democracy and a very good economic situation are facing and probably will face security threats. These actions, characterized by violence, destruction and human rights violations, have causes, ways of expression and different effects, but all generates human suffering. The return to normality can be achieved only through strong measures taken by governments through political, administrative institutions and other institutions as corrective and even armed force.
